My dad Poseidon, who is the one who makes it hard for Odyesseus to return to his homeland. He comes over to my mountain house for lunch just about everyday. We just sit there and talk about what each other have been up to. The one day my dad comes over, he tells me about how Odyesseus stabbed my brother Polyphemos in the eye and blinded him. I didn't understand why he would do that. We were both confused as to why he would just go in to Polyphemos's house and hurt him. We both know Polyphemos did not intended to cause harm to Odyesseus and his men. He was just living the way he has for hundreds of years. Another day he came over for lunch he was telling me how he made Odyesseus shipless and killed all his men. We had both thought it was fair for him to do that because he caused harm to my brother for no reason and that he did have it coming. Odyesseus didn't deserve to make it home in our eyes. Neither did his men or ship. My dad is not the kind of God that forgets to easily. After you get on his bad side its hard to get on the other side. Both of us agree he had everything coming his way when he harmed Polyphemos.
